As you probably already know the human body consists of approximately 70 percent water. Drinking enough water during the day is not only important for your body in order to be able to function properly but water is also on of the most overlooked natural fat burners. Not only does water help your body to transport all the nutrients from the food you eat to all your organs, water also helps in digesting your food, absorbing the vitamins and minerals, keeping your circulation healthy and most importantly water helps your body to maintain a normal body temperature.
In other words that means that or body would not be able to perform any of our essential body functions without it.
Water is especially beneficial for women of all ages. By drinking the minimum of eight to ten glasses of water a day, we can replace all the water we lost during a regular day through perspiration and by doing that we also make sure we flush out all the waste products which if we don't drink enough water will get stuck in your body system. The average person doesn't drink enough water to do this and carries between 1-3 lbs of waste products in their system. Waste products in our system, give our skin the look of what women often refer to as having bumpy skin and "cottage cheese" thighs.
Water is also a natural skin rejuvenator for everybody and especially women. Our skin not only reacts to what we apply from the outside but also to what we put into our system will determine what our skin will look like on the outside. With enough water in our system the skin stays moisturized all day.
A lot of the skin repair takes place while you are sleeping and that's another reason why it's so good for you to drink a large glass of water before you go to bed. Drinking water before bedtime also prevents your body from dehydrating. Some of the most common signs that you need to drink more water are headaches, dry skin and yellowish eyeballs. If you are a healthy individual and you are drinking between ¾ to 1 gallon of water a day you should see not only some weight reduction but also experience a sense of well being and a clearer skin.
It's very important to drink water before, during and after your exercise to prevent your body from dehydrating, especially if you exercise outdoors in hot weather or in a humid climate. Water is an essential source of minerals such as magnesium and calcium that prevent our muscles from cramping up.
