Weight loss and especially fat loss only occurs in your body when your energy output is higher then your caloric input. To achieve this you can reduce your calories in your daily food intake at the same time as you become physically active. Exercising has been proven to decrease body fat percentage and fat mass in your total body composition.
Sometimes when you start working out, the pounds might go up instead of down on the scale but not to worry. Lean muscle mass weighs more then fat mass so while it might look like you are putting on weight, it will show in the shape of your body and on how your clothes fit you, that you are actually losing weight instead, fat weight that is.
A pound of lean muscle mass burns between 30-50 calories a day all by itself while a pound of fat mass burns 2 calories a day so as you can see you are better off carrying some more of that lean muscle mass that burns calories all day and night by itself. Not to bad of a deal, eh? When you start working out whether it is with weights or just doing cardiovascular exercise, your body composition will change gradually.
What use to be the high number of fat mass in your total body composition summary, is going to decrease slowly and the lean mass number will increase at the same time. This is why, staying physically active can never be stressed enough. It is so important for your health to live an active lifestyle instead of a sedentary. You will not only lose weight when exercising, you will also keep your blood pressure in the range of normal, your cholesterol down and your heart will stay a lot stronger and healthier if you do cardiovascular exercise regularly. You can lose some weight without exercising but there is absolutely no way that you will lose any fat weight without being physically active.
The relationship between fitness exercise and fat loss is no lie. You can't have fitness exercise without fat loss or fat loss without fitness exercise. They go hand in hand and no matter how hard you try not having to work out to lose fat weight there is no other way unfortunately.
Fat is only stored energy so use it to lose it while exercising. If you hear abouy supplement that will help you lose the fat while sleeping or while lying on the couch your reaction should be that it si impossible to not exercise and still burn fat. There is no magic pill that will do the hard work for you or there is no such thing as a fat burning cream that you apply twice a day. All these gimicks are just marketing tools to fool you and to give you false hope to buy it.
The more knowledge you have about what is actually happning inside your body when you exercise, the smaller the chance will that you while fall for some stupid slogan about a fatburning product that holds false promises.
Claim your health and start exercising to burn off unecessary fat weigth that will only cause you to feel tired, lethargic, unattractive and unhappy. Nobody likes feeling overweight and if you add the health risks you put yourself at if you don't try to change your lifestyle should be enough incentives to get you started. If you still aren't convinced that losing extra weight is the best thing you can ever do for youself and for your family, just think of all the money you will save by buying less food. Be a role model for your children and take the first step for the whole family towards a healthier longer life by incorporating fitness into your family schedule along with healthy eating habits.
